Organic Green Kukicha is called the "twig tea" because it is made from a blend of organic twigs, stems and a few mature dried leaves from all harvesting seasons. Unlike Organic Hoji Kukicha, this is non-roasted!

Kabuse Kukicha is a Kabuse-cha from the first harvest. It is a mixture of leaves and leaf stems. The tea has a gold-green color and is freshly fruity without bitter aftertaste

Kukicha generally contains 90% less caffeine than regular coffee and hence it is a very good substitute to sencha or matcha without the worry of too much caffeine. Morever, Kukicha is great brewing either hot or cold. It is also quite popular among children too.

Harvested near the southern part of Kyoto, our tea leaves are 100% organically grown with chemical free biomass and water.
