Uses Of Used Green Tea Leaves Green tea leaves are well known to carry medical values and provide great health benefits for your body. But many of you do not know that used leaves of this tea can be used for multi purpose. Ensue the used leaves of this tea is free from bacteria. After brewing the tea transfer the used leaves into a big container filtering the water completely. Allow it to dry for a while. Now the dried leaves can be used in many ways.

Carpet cleaning: Owing to its antibacterial property the tea leaves can be used in vacuum cleaner for de-odorizing the carpet. Just sprinkle some dried leaves on the carpet and leave it for some time. The leaves act on the bacteria causing bad smell. Now clean it with the vacuum cleaner.

Cat box and cutting board: The vegetable cutting board always has some leftover smell on them. For removing the odor, add some dried leaves and sprinkle some water on it to make it wet. Leave it aside for few minutes. This will remove the bad odor completely. Similarly add some dried leaves of used green tea into the cat box for removing unpleasant smell. The catechin present in the leaves is powerful anti oxidant for destroying the bacteria causing odor.

Eye pads: Used tea bags can be placed on your eyes for some minutes. Wash your face with cool water to feel fresh. Add little leaves of used tea into the bathing tub before taking your bath. You can also add used tea bags in them for removing any virus infection and bacteria from your body.

Mouthwash: It can be used as an excellent mouth wash. The green tea leaves not only kills bacteria by removing the bad smell from your mouth but the Fluorine content is powerful to make your gums strong and act against cavity and gingivitis.
